The Big Dig NYC: A Creatives Party 2025

Heavy Shovel Productions’ The Big Dig NYC is back and better than ever on Friday, December 5th in Soho to connect with like-minded filmmakers and find your next collaborator.

We’ve designed this part of the night to make sure you meet the people you actually want to talk to. When you sign up, you’ll fill out a quick form, and our matching algorithm (plus a little human touch from the Heavy Shovel Team) will pair you with three curated matches. Think speed-dating, but for filmmakers. This is the type of thing you can come to solo. Open Bar. You must register to attend as this is a curated event. Spots are limited. Register here.

PART 2: The Party

After the structured rounds, it’s mix, mingle & party time. The truth is that we all like working with friends, so grab a drink at the open bar and make a new friend. You can grab a ticket just for the party, but we highly recommend you come for the whole thing.

  • Party-Only: $25

All tickets increase by $5 one week before the event. If cost is a barrier, reach out — we want this to stay accessible.

Part 1 + 2 Ticket includes Structured Networking, Party, and Open Bar.
Part 2 Ticket includes just the Party with the Open Bar. (Just the party tickets will open in November)
